A curious mind, an imperfect life, and a deep interest in human connection.

I came to Moonlight through an ordinary life rather than a straight path.
I studied business and finance and spent much of my professional life working in international business, export and e-commerce. That world taught me to notice structure, timing, detail and responsibility. When other people depend on you, small things matter.
Life outside work has taught me something different.
I am a father. Fatherhood has taught me more about patience, responsibility, compromise and humility than anything I studied formally. It has also reminded me, again and again, that a person cannot be understood only through the role they are expected to play. Neither can I.
PROFILE
The person behind Moonlight
Old enough to have accumulated experience. Young enough to keep questioning it.
Compact, active, and more interested in presence than physical grandstanding.
Fatherhood is one of the most important responsibilities of my life.
My academic and professional grounding before Moonlight.
Years working across export, e-commerce and relationships beyond Japan.
With Moonlight extending farther by arrangement.
Calm, easygoing and observant. I probably smile before I make a speech.
Everything in Moonlight exists in both languages from the start, not as a translation added later.
Un-tattooed, odourless, kempt and neat. Hair removal at around ninety percent.
Cosmopolitan and international in background. I value the ability to think about one’s own thinking above other kinds of intelligence.
Daydreaming, writing and pondering, philosophy, DIY, photography, Amekaji curation, making things by hand, collecting vintage and antiques, classic cars, slow living, and watching people.
Kominka renovation, rebuilt and sold. A chain of kominka cafés housing vintage, art and antiques. An AI solutions startup. A Japan-based design, lifestyle and goods company. And a camper-van road trip the length of Japan.
I HAVE NOT FIGURED EVERYTHING OUT
An ordinary adult life leaves marks.
I am not someone who has mastered relationships, desire or life.
I have misunderstood people. I have been uncertain. There have been times when work and responsibility occupied more space than I wanted them to. I have known emotional distance when I wanted closeness, and moments when what I thought I understood about myself had to be reconsidered.
I suspect adulthood contains much more of this than most of us admit. We become parents, professionals, partners, caregivers and dependable people. We learn how to keep things moving. And sometimes, quietly, we wonder where the rest of ourselves went.
That question interests me.
WHY MOONLIGHT
Moonlight grew out of ordinary life.
Moonlight is not an escape from my ordinary life. It grew out of it.
Work showed me how quickly life can become organized around schedules, responsibilities and outcomes. Fatherhood taught me how deeply another person's needs can matter. Relationships taught me that affection does not automatically create understanding, and that closeness cannot be demanded simply because it is wanted.
Over time, I became increasingly curious about the parts of adult life that often have no comfortable language: wanting to be touched, wanting someone to listen, feeling lonely while surrounded by people, rediscovering desire after it has gone quiet, wanting warmth without immediately having to define where it will lead, and wondering what intimacy means when life no longer resembles the version we imagined when we were younger.
Moonlight grew from that curiosity. It brings together conversation, companionship, body awareness, touch, emotional intelligence and Tantra-informed ideas, while keeping consent, boundaries and individual choice at the center.
Not because I believe I have discovered a universal answer. Because I became interested in asking better questions.

BILINGUAL · MULTICULTURAL
Two languages, one way of paying attention.
I am a bilingual, multicultural man based in Japan. My working life has been spent in IT, inbound business, international commerce and the work of connecting Japan with the rest of the world. Much of it happens in English; much of my private life happens in Japanese.
Moonlight is built the same way. Japanese and English are not a translation added afterwards. Reservation, forms, explanation, pricing, consent and conversation exist in both languages from the start, so that a woman living in Japan and a woman visiting it can feel equally at home, and equally understood.
The interest underneath all of it has been there for as long as I can remember: love, desire, attraction, loneliness, sensuality, emotion, the way people think about their own thinking, and people themselves.
WHAT YOU CAN KNOW BEFORE WE MEET
The person you read here is the person who arrives.
Much of this world is a lottery: the same name, a different person each time, and hours spent reading reviews because a wrong choice is expensive. Moonlight is one person. There is no rotation.
So this site is built to show more than photographs. My voice and the way I speak. My philosophy, in my own words. How I approach bodywork. My etiquette, and my own boundaries. How I prepare and how I present myself. How I respond to different preferences. And the long-form writing in the Journal, which is probably the most honest portrait of how I think.
If you would still like to check before spending anything, there is the Private Chemistry Call: a short video or voice conversation before any major Experience, with no sexual content and no sales pressure, whose only purpose is to let you feel whether you are comfortable spending private time with me.

LISTENING FIRST
Not “I know what women want.”
Every woman is different, so listening comes first. Conversation, silence, pauses, atmosphere, timing, the body’s responses, tension, curiosity, a sense of safety and aftercare are all one experience to me, not separate items on a list.
There is no standard female body. There is only the woman in front of me. And pleasure, when it comes, is welcome; it is never a target she has to reach on schedule.
For the time we share, I am completely present with you.
PRESENCE OVER PERFORMANCE
You do not need to perform a version of yourself here.
I do not expect anyone who comes to Moonlight to perform a particular version of femininity. You do not have to be confident. You do not have to know exactly what you want. You do not have to become spiritual, adventurous, sensual or transformed.
You can change your mind. You can ask questions. You can choose something simpler. You can decide not to proceed.
I believe attention becomes meaningful when both people remain present enough to choose. That principle matters more to me than following a script.
WHAT I DO NOT PRETEND TO BE
Human, not an authority on your life.
I am not a doctor, psychologist or spiritual authority. Moonlight is not medical treatment, psychotherapy or a promise of healing.
I also do not believe every difficult feeling needs to become a profound revelation. Sometimes a person wants perspective. Sometimes she wants rest. Sometimes she wants conversation. Sometimes she wants to feel attractive again. Sometimes she misses touch. Sometimes she simply wants a few hours in which she does not have to carry everything.
There should be room for that too.

OUTSIDE MOONLIGHT
Moonlight is only one part of my life.
I remain a father, a businessman and a person with ordinary responsibilities. I am interested in people, culture, cinema, books, aesthetics, the body, psychology, relationships and the strange contradictions that make adult life interesting.
I like observing what people say. I am often more interested in what they hesitate to say. I appreciate beauty, but perfection interests me much less than character.
And despite building Moonlight around attention and human connection, I am still learning how both work.
STILL BECOMING
I am still learning.
About people. About women. About fatherhood. About desire, aging, relationships and the body. About when to speak and when to listen. About how people protect themselves while still hoping to be understood.
Moonlight reflects some of what I have learned so far. It will probably also reflect what I have yet to learn. I think that is more honest than pretending otherwise.
I am part of the idea behind Moonlight. I am not evidence that I have perfected it.
